DAVAO CITY — Area 93 Director Zarah Franchesca Sy ACS OCL of UECP Toastmasters Club was elected the 2018-2019 Division L Director during the District 75 semiannual Business Council Meeting, April 27.
Zarah will succeed Division L Director Daryl Zamora ACB ALB of Maharlika Toastmasters Club on July 1.
A Toastmaster since her college days, Zarah is an entrepreneur based in Binondo, Manila. She is currently the Director of Area 93, which includes her home club, UP Manila Toastmasters Club, AdU Falcons Toastmasters Club, and Tigers Toastmasters Club.
With the recently ratified District-wide club realignment, Zarah will be the first to administer to a Division L that is composed exclusively of clubs in the City of Manila and Pasay City.
Division L, now the second-youngest division, has been led by Pearl Villamarzo DTM (2013-2014), Vivian Gapido DTM (2014-2015), Arvy Villamarzo DTM (2015-2016), and Jun Hio DTM (2016-2017).
